Smart 911 is a FREE and secure service provided by Lake County 911 to enhance our ability to respond to emergencies. Lake County residents should go to www.smart911.com (or download the app) and create a safety profile. The safety profile contains as much, or as little, information as the resident wants to provide to help our professional dispatchers send help.   • Deaf, hard of hearing, or speech disability
  • Unable to speak due to injury or medical emergency

RAPID SOS Enhanced Locations

 Lake County's partners at RapidSOS work to deliver accurate location and rich emergency data to telecommunicators through existing call-taking, dispatch, and mapping software. What does this mean for you? More accurate location information, especially when calling 911 from a cellular (mobile) phone.

Operation Combat Bikesaver

 OCB provides a workshop, general safe haven, & comradery filled stomping ground for Veterans suffering from PTSD / TBI / and/or depression.

Missing Kids Readiness Program

 The Missing Kids Readiness Program promotes best practices for responding to calls of missing, abducted, and sexually exploited children. Agencies are recognized by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® for meeting essential training and policy elements demonstrating preparedness for responding to a missing child incident.  Lake County is proud to be a MKRP member.
