Technology

Support Services

The technology aspect of the 911 Center is managed by the combined efforts of the Support Services team. 

The team is composed of: 

  1. Corbin Bish - Deputy Director of Support Services
  2. David Bouwman - Information Technologist
  3. Shawn Housler - Information Technologist

Remote Support Site

Radio Communications

Lake County Emergency Communications uses a Motorola P25 Phase II TDMA radio system to connect responders and dispatchers.


In 2018, the system handled over 11,700 hours of communications at 9.1 million system push-to-talk activations.

Infrastructure

The 911 Center utilizes the best and latest technology resources for the support of dispatch operations and partner agencies that respond to emergencies.
